GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Students helping students succeed. That is the idea behind the non-profit youth organization, “BJC Passing Score”.

17-year-old Jayden Newbold founded the organization back in 2020 as an eighth grader during the height of the covid 19 pandemic.

For newbold, it’s a gratifying experience watching his organization grow over three years while also witnessing the difference it makes amongst other students across the country.

Acting president, Nalon Bartlette wants other students and tutors to sign up, if they are looking to give back.

As a now 10th grader, he says he is living the benefits as a former mentee.

The student ran organization is a registered non-profit youth organization under the ministry of youth sports and culture. Last year they won the outstanding youth organization award.

Head of marketing relations, Charity Hyppolite, says they are in need of financial help.  She hopes corporate bahamas answers the plea.

To sign up, simply visit them on facebook at bjc passing score.
