NASSAU, BAHAMAS – She’s now been in the post for six months but this is her first one-on-one interview about being the first female appointed as the executive director of the Bahamas National Trust.

Lakeshia Anderson-Rolle was appointed as the Executive Director of the Bahamas National Trust last year. She officially assumed the post in January 2023.

But she’s no stranger to the BNT. In fact, she’s been working for the non-profit organization for 11 years.

During our one-on-one interview she told me about the goals for her first year in office.

And there’s more, she has big plans for the country’s national parks.

As for being the first woman to hold the post, Anderson-Rolle shared this.
