NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Central Bank has terminated its project to construct a new headquarters building on the Royal Victoria Gardens site.

The bank detailing in a press release, that it started the process to transfer ownership of the property back to the government, so that alternative use can be made of the site.

Economic Affairs Minister Michael Halkitis says while he did not see the press release, from what he understands the project is being postponed, not canceled.
