Businessman Accused of Sharing Nude Video of 37-Year-Old Woman
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A businessman accused of circulating a sex video of a 37-year-old woman has denied charges of intentional libel.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A businessman accused of circulating a sex video of a 37-year-old woman has denied charges of intentional libel.
Prosecutors say 54-year-old Carl Butler published nudes videos of the woman in November and December with the intention of defaming her.
Butler pleaded not guilty to the charges at his arraignment before Senior Magistrate Anishka Isaacs.
His bail was set at $5,000. As a condition of bail, Butler has to wear an ankle monitor, sign in at the Central Police Station.
He’s also forbidden from contacting the complainant directly or through electronic means. His trial is set for March 13, 2025.
