NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The taxi driver that was alleged to have left a party of 18 tourists stranded after being paid has had his license suspended, according to Transport Minister Jobeth Coleby-Davis.

Coleby Davis says the man was taken into custody, but an official complaint has not been filed.

Following the incident, Taxi Cab Union President Welsey Ferguson said there needs to be a code of conduct to prevent instances like these.
