NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Humane Society getting a much welcomed donation from the Cable Bahamas family on Tuesday.

Cable Cares Foundation Board member Amber Carey says it was a joy to make the donation during the rescue vehicle ribbon-cutting ceremony that was held in front of the Humane Society.

In February of this year, their animal ambulance was vandalized, and just a few weeks ago thieves broke into the Humane Society, stealing thousands of dollars in cash.

Fast forward to the present day, the Cable Cares Foundation has joined the list of donors that have pledged their commitment to assisting the organization.

Board member for the Humane Society and wife of the prime minister, Ann-Marie Davis gave remarks of gratitude on behalf of the organization.
