NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Cancer Society of The Bahamas is sharing hope this Christmas season, kicking it off with its annual tree lighting, Friday night.

Gina Gonzalez Rolle, Chair of Love Lights a Tree for the Cancer Society of The Bahamas, tells Our News this is just the second year the organization is lighting its new 20-foot tree.

She explains the annual event is a way to share hope and get the community involved to give back to those who are fighting and surviving cancer.

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas is a non-profit organization that helps people with cancer and provides a home away from home for Family Island residents being treated in the capital.
