It may look like an ordinary van, But for Jackie Cash it’s her office.

You see, Cash is the transport and assistant supervisor for the Cancer Society’s Cancer Caring Center.

A huge part of her job is transporting live-in patients from the center to treatment and on everyday errands.

And she has been doing it for the last 12 years.

Cash says what keeps her going is the need to help the patients who have become family over the years.

When it comes to her immediate family, cash who is a wife and mom of three, says she lost her mom to lung cancer when she was a child.

She says she takes comfort in helping others.
