Captain Bahamas receives a hefty donation from Nassau Village MP to aid in the fight against climate change in The Bahamas.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – His efforts in combating climate change have led to a hefty donation and the title: Captain Bahamas.

Nine-year-old Anwar Rolle and local hero – with his mother in tow – stopping by the Nassau Village Constituency Office Thursday and sharing his vision for tackling climate change.

Anwar’s mother jumped at her son’s unique idea to “save the planet”.

Member of Parliament for Nassau Village Jamahl Strachan gladly presenting Captain Bahamas with a donation to help with his efforts. Young Anwar says the donation will be used for beach cleanup supplies.
