Caribbean Passports Improve Rankings On Most Powerful List

Barbados has retained the top spot as the most powerful passport in the Caribbean, according to the 2024 henley passport index, with The Bahamas following in second.

CARIBBEAN – Barbados has retained the top spot as the most powerful passport in the Caribbean, according to the 2024 henley passport index, with The Bahamas following in second. 

Barbados ranks 20th globally (up from 22nd in January) with visa-free access to 165 destinations. Guyana and Jamaica have also joined the top 10 list this year.

Singapore holds the most powerful passport worldwide, with visa-free access to 195 destinations.

Here are the most powerful Caribbean passports based on the July 2024 Henley Passport Index:

– Barbados – #20 globally, 165 visa-free destinations

– The Bahamas – #21 globally, 161 visa-free destinations

– St Kitts and Nevis – #23 globally, 157 visa-free destinations

– St Vincent and the Grenadines – #23 globally, 157 visa-free destinations

– Antigua and Barbuda – #26 globally, 153 visa-free destinations

– Trinidad and Tobago – #27 globally, 151 visa-free destinations

– St Lucia – #30 globally, 148 visa-free destinations

– Grenada – #31 globally, 147 visa-free destinations

– Dominica – #32 globally, 143 visa-free destinations

– Belize – #48 globally, 102 visa-free destinations

– Guyana – #55 globally, 89 visa-free destinations
