NASSAU, BAHAMAS – CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister Philip Davis calling for unity at the opening ceremonies of the 44th Regular Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government.

Davis outlining a number of issues to be addressed amongst the government heads, including investment and co-operation in education, infrastructure, food and energy security and the ongoing crisis in Haiti.

He also notes that over the past 50 years, not much has changed in the region.

Outgoing CARICOM Chair, President of Suriname Chandrikapersad Santokhi extending well wishes to Davis as he leads for the next few months and offering his continued support.
