NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Meet Seargeant Reanne Moncur she’s one of the hardworking officers attached to the Carmichael Road Police Station.

It covers an area that stretches from Coral Harbour Road to Blue Hill Road to as far north as John F. Kennedy Drive and as deep south as Marshall Road.

Sgt. Moncur has spent eight of her 13 years on the police force stationed at the Carmichael Road Police Station and she’s no stranger to the community.

Moncur says her years of service at the station have been fulfilling.

Her career highlights include mentoring fellow officers and egaging young people in the Carmichael community.

But who does she find inspiring? Police Commissioner Shanta Knowles, who became the first woman to lead the Royal Bahamas Police Force in January.
