NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Good news for the nation’s second city as things are beginning to take shape with the Carnival Cruise Port project in East Grand Bahama. Carnival officials on the ground this week, providing updates on construction as well as job opportunities. Our Jameelha Missick has the details.

The Carnival Cruise Port project in Grand Bahama is expected to be completed late 2024. Vice President of Global Ports and Destination Development, David Candib says the idea is to make it a gateway to Grand Bahama.

He explains that over the next two and a half years, there will be a lot of employment opportunities.

The carnival official says they’ve started work for dredging and construction of the cruise pier.
