CCTV: Masked Gunmen Attack Church In Istanbul

TURKEY – Two masked gunmen fatally shot a person during an early Sunday morning service at Istanbul’s Santa Maria Catholic Church, according to Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.

CCTV footage from the church confirmed the details, matching the date and time stamp provided by Yerlikaya.

He has since assured that authorities are actively pursuing the assailants.

The governor says the victim, a Turkish national, was the sole target and no one else was harmed.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
