Chaplaincy Training Program Launched At RBDF

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Chaplaincy Department at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force is looking to expand its reach by training sub-chaplains in the organisation.

RBDF Chaplain Raymond Wells says the plan is to have them out to sea and at sub-bases.

The officers will undergo a two-day training session which started today.

The training session will be conducted by frontline chaplains international.

Trainees will discuss topics like depression, trauma, and disaster response.

RBDF Captain Glenn McPhee says the commodore has mandated these sub-chaplains are deployed to give support to those in need.
