Charges Dropped Against Man Accused of Trying to Kill Five Women

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of attempting to kill five women will no longer be tried.

Dino Lafleur, 23, faced five counts of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life in connection with March 5, 2021 shooting.

However, prosecutors discontinued the matter when Lafleur appeared before Justice Jeanine Weech-Gomez.
Lafleur was alleged to be the gunman who opened fire on a car occupied by five women as it traveled east along Second Street in Coconut Grove.
