U.S.A. – A record number of student athletes are in the NCAA transfer portal this offseason.
Veronaye Charlton is one of those players looking for a new program to continue her athletic and academic career.
Charlton spent two seasons with the University of Northern Alabama Lions of the Atlantic Sun Conference.
As a freshman, the 5’4 guard started 28 of 29 games.
She averaged 9.5 points and 3.7 rebounds in just under 23 minutes per game.
Charlton was recruited to the Lions and played her freshman season under Missy Tiber.

The former junior national team member played locally for the Jordan Prince William fFalcons before she matriculated to Norcross High School in Georgia.
