NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The local spiny lobster season officially opens on August 1st and to commemorate the start of the season a home grown Emmy award winning chef is hosting a unique event promising bold and creative ways that the delicacy is served.

That’s Emmy award winning Chef Simeon Hall Jr., the culinary cultural connoisseur is preparing for his latest soriee titled “Pier To Table.”

Scheduled for August 2nd, the Bahamian dining experience will be held against the scenic backdrop of Fort Montagu and will honor what we harvest from the sea, the Bahamian spiny lobster.

Along with Chef Hall, the event will feature the diverse flavors of five additional chefs, both local and international. Their challenge is to highlight the various possibilities in which lobster can be prepared and served.

This multi-course tasting menu will include custom cocktails, wines and unique tales from the sea.

He says this event is a collaboration amongst chefs who share this common goal.
