COLOMBIA – Four indigenous children who were missing for more than five weeks in Colombia’s southern jungle are recovering well, according to family members.

The children, aged 1 through 13, were found on Friday after they survived a May 1st plane crash that killed their mother and two other adults.

The children’s father, Manuel Ranoque, said his eldest daughter told him their mother urged them to “Get out” and save themselves.
