UNITED STATES – Jazz Chisholm Jr. emerged as one of baseball’s most electric players in 2025, earning the no.61 spot on MLB Network’s top 100 players heading into 2026.

A healthy Jazz put on a show by the numbers – 31 homers, 31 stolen bases, his second all-star appearance and a Silver Slugger award.

Since joining the New York Yankees, Chisholm’s impact has been immediate – multi‑positional versatility, career high numbers across the board and a world series appearance.

Off the field, Chisholm continues to give back through his foundation-backed little league program here at home.

Chisholm signed a one-year, $10.2 million contract for 2026, keeping him in New York and setting the stage for potential long-term extension.

The Davis League is designed primarily as a showcase for unsigned and free-agent talent which brought together scouts, player development staff, and decision-makers in a spring-training-style environment built for live game evaluation.

Bahamian players included D’shawn Knowles, Chavez Young, Toby Simmons, Zion Bannister, Daunte Stuart, Lucius Fox, and Tahnaj Thomas – a group that collectively has major league, minor league, and international experience.

The Davis league, named in honor of former MLB Star Eric Davis, is a key initiative of the Players Alliance, aimed at creating access and second-chance opportunities for professional players who may have fallen outside traditional pipelines but are seeking opportunity and visibility.

Hosted in Arizona, the event took advantage of the region’s proximity to MLB scouting operations and provided participants with a competitive, game-speed setting rather than a workout-only showcase.

Deyton Albury and the New Mexico Lobos had a dominant 89-61 road win over UNLV last night at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Lobos improved to 17-4 overall and 8-2 in conference play, leading wire-to-wire and recording their largest-ever win over the Runnin’ Rebels.

Albury had 11 in the win and the Lobos conclude their road trip on Saturday with a visit to San Jose State.

In Philadelphia, VJ Edgecombe continued his all-around impact in the Sixers 139-122 win over the Milwaukee Bucks last night at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.

Edgecombe stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal.

The Sixers return to the court Thursday when they host the Sacramento Kings.
