NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Proprietor of Cleaning Wizzards, Krystal Deveaux, say she started her company in 2017 by happenstance. She says she stumbled upon a social media post soliciting a cleaner, and since it was something she already enjoyed doing, she took up the task.

The 35-year-old says she currently juggles running her business which now employs six people, a 9-5 job and being a mother.

Deveaux credits her natural entrepreneurial skills to her grandmother.

During the initial phases of the pandemic, the lockdowns and restrictions stifled business, but since the loosening of restrictions, business has grown.

Cleaning Wizzards now takes on commercial clients and even trains their employees.

One of the biggest lessons she has learned so far is understanding that you won’t be able to please every client.

And when it comes to other aspiring entrepreneurs, she says her advice is to just start, even if you don’t have a plan in place.
