Ole Miss Beats Mizzou 66-45

Columbia, MO, USA – Grand Bahama Native Yolett McPhee McCuin and her University of Mississippi Rebels are officially on a roll.

They skunked The University of Missouri Tigers 66-45 on Monday night to win their fourth straight game, placing them third in the conference behind defending champion LSU and perennial powerhouse South Carolina.

Ole Miss encountered early resistance from Mizzou, trading buckets in the first quarter, concluding that stanza up 13-12. Things got out of hand for Mizzou in the second quarter when the Rebels went on a 13-4 run, ending the second half up 26-16 and never looking back. 

Snudda Collins led the way for the Rebels with 14 points and Kennedy Todd-Williams was all over the court, scoring 12 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. New Providence-born freshman Rhema Collins, got in the game late, playing two minutes, grabbing two rebounds. 

With the win, Coach Yo clinched her third straight 20-win season, the first time the program has had three straight years of 20 wins since Van Chancellor accomplished it in 1989-1992.


Ole Miss is in the final stretch of their season. They’ll play Kentucky on Thursday night then Georgia in their finale on Sunday then they’re on to the SEC tournament and hopefully the NCAA Tournament.
