NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A labor of love that began over three months ago is coming to a close on the National Day of Service. Volunteers from Church of God of Prophecy added the final touches to Isula Henfield’s homestead, which she’s lived in since July 1973.

Church of God of Prophecy’s Zone 1 district supervisor, Bishop Dr. Woodley Thompson, says service above self is a constant biblical theme, tying in perfectly with the national day of service.

Project lead Antonio Hannah says the church regularly supports its communities, and members of all ages came together for this special initiative.

Henfield says she would have had to complete the much-needed repairs in phases and appreciates the gesture from her church community.
