NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Cheers and emotional reunions Friday evening as Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) officers returned home following a four-month deployment in Haiti.

This would be the third cohort sent by the RBDF to support the Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission, who are working to restore stability in the country amid ongoing violence.

Minister of National Security, Wayne Munroe, praised the officers for their work.

Meantime, RBDF Commodore, Floyd Moxey, explained some of the ways the Bahamian team contributed to the multinational force – an experience they won’t forget.

Commodore Moxey also noted that 18 officers are already in training for another deployment if deemed necessary.
