Convict Re-Sentenced to 45 Years In Prison for 2018 Murder
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A career criminal, who’s criminal history spanned 30 years, has been re-sentenced to 45 years in prison for murder.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A career criminal, who’s criminal history spanned 30 years, has been re-sentenced to 45 years in prison for murder.
Franklyn “Chilly” Edgecombe had previously been jailed for life for the December 11, 2018 murder of Rico Archer.
The appellate court upheld the 56-year-old’s conviction earlier this year, but overturned his life sentence.
According to the evidence, Archer was walking home from a neighborhood store in Mason’s Addition when Edgecombe began firing at him.
Archer ran for his life, with Edgecombe in pursuit, and, once he fell to the ground, Edgecombe allegedly stood over him and fired several more times.
