MAYAGUANA, BAHAMAS – Acting Prime Minister Chester Cooper thanking local government officials for taking action as first responders in the face of the threat of Hurricane Fiona.

“We don’t fool ourselves to that we can sit in New Providence and make things happen on all of these various islands… we need your help and your support,” Cooper said.

Mayaguana, Inagua, Crooked Island, Acklins and Long Cay (MICAL) Member of Parliament Basil McIntosh thanked stakeholders from the capital for lending a hand to Mayaguana residents under the threat of the storm.
