NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of killing his girlfriend and her teenage daughter denied the charges during his arraignment in the Supreme Court on Friday. 

Prosecutors allege that Blake Strachan, 23, of Ross Corner, is responsible for the murders of Allison Thompson and her 14-year-old daughter Trevornika Thompson.

Police found their decomposing bodies locked inside their apartment on Ross Corner on April 14 after they went there to investigate the source of a foul odor.

Strachan entered not guilty pleas to the charges when he appeared before Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson via video link from the prison.

A date for his trial will be fixed  August 23 when he appears before Justice Grant-Thompson.
