NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Court of Appeal rejected the appeal of a man who used his vehicle as a weapon.

Green was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment after a jury convicted him of causing dangerous harm to Anthony Lightfoot on December 29, 2018.

Lightfoot, who is known as “outlaw”, was standing across from his home on Irish Spring Court, when prosecutors say Green ran him over on purpose.

Lightfoot sustained a head-injury that doctors say was life-threatening.

The court heard how there was bad blood between Lightfoot and Green before the incident.

Green admitted to knocking down lightfoot; however, he claimed it was an accident.

Green was initially charged with attempted murder. However, he was acquitted of the charge and found guilty of the lesser charge of causing dangerous harm following a trial in 2019.
