NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander says officers are aware that criminals borrow guns to commit crimes.

Fernander says it’s a trend they are keeping a close eye on.

His comments come as police investigated a homicide Wednesday morning where a man was sitting in a Passo.

Police have been looking into finding ways to take guns off the street.
