WORLDWIDE – The U.S. is pulling back from MRNA vaccine research, the same technology that helped save millions during Covid-19.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has shut down 22 federal projects worth $500 million, claiming MRNA vaccines don’t stop infection.

But top scientists say he’s wrong and warn the move could cost lives.

One expert calls it “a catastrophic error”, arguing MRNA remains vital, especially in future pandemics.

Critics say turning away now puts the whole world at risk.
