CUBA – More than 100,000 Havana residents are without water raising tensions on the streets of Cuba’s capital. This as government scrambles to find a solution.

Cuba’s state-run media has reported the shortage, which is said to result from aging, decrepit infrastructure, affect up to 200,000 residents.

Cubans are already suffering one of the communist-run country’s worst economic crisis in decades, battered by tough U.S. Sanctions, a pandemic hangover, and floundering tourism.
