NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Twenty-five-year-old Krishard Culmer is the sole proprietor of Culmer’s Painting and Property Maintenance.

Even as a high school student he knew he wanted to own his own business. Culmer got his start in his family’s construction company, eventually branching out – first into small jobs before eventually launching his own business.

Culmer enrolled at BTVI to build on his technical skills.

He says it is a pathway to future growth.  Yet even now, launching and operating his own company presents its share of challenges.

However, the highlight of Culmer’s journey is providing opportunities for other young men.
