Dad Charged with Sexually and Physically Assaulting Daughter
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A father is facing charges after his daughter accused him of touching her in a sexual way and physically assaulting her.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A father is facing charges after his daughter accused him of touching her in a sexual way and physically assaulting her.
The 30-year-old man’s name cannot be published as it would reveal his 14-year-old daughter’s identity.
Prosecutors allege that the man committed the crimes in 2022 and 2023 when his daughter was 12 and 13 years old.
The man was not required to enter pleas to charges of indecent assault and cruelty to children when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
The accused was remanded to prison and is due to return to court on Monday for a bail hearing.
