Dame Marguerite Recalls Fond Memories With Royals
LONDON – Former Governor-General Dame Marguerite Pindling recalls the moments she shared with the late Queen Elizabeth II as well as now King Charles III.
LONDON – Former Governor-General and wife of the late Sir Lynden Pindling, Dame Marguerite Pindling also in London for the coronation of King Charles III.
While speaking during a one-on-one with our Megan Shepherd, she recalled the moments she shared with the late Queen Elizabeth II as well as now King Charles III.
While some have expressed their desire to part ways with the monarch, Dame Marguerite says she is pleased with the current relationship. She is also recalled a dance she shared with then Prince Charles back in 1973. A moment that has become iconic.
She also says if she meets him during this visit to London, she will indeed invite him back to The Bahamas.
