‘Dead’ Woman Found Breathing In Coffin

ECUADOR – An Ecuadorian woman thought to be dead, left mourners startled when they discover she was still alive.

On Friday, 76-year-old Bella Montoya was declared dead by a doctor following a suspected stroke and cardiac arrest.

She was placed in a coffin and taken to a funeral parlour, where relatives held a vigil before her planned burial.

However Montoya started banging on her coffin.

Video taken by a mourner shows her struggling to breathe, waiting for an ambulance to arrive.

The Ecuador Ministry of Health says it is investigating the doctors.
