IOWA, UNITED STATES – Denisha Cartwright ran in the Larry Weiczorek Invitational Saturday at the University of Iowa.

Running unnatached, she won the 60-meter hurdles in 7.78 seconds, a personal record that tied her for the world lead on the season.

The win qualified her for the indoor world championships in China in March.

Cartwright is coming off a year where she won multiple division II woman athlete of the year awards, and national titles and made an olympic appearance.

Now she’s graduated and devoted to track full-time, expect for the hardware, and records, to keep on coming.

Basketball
