Devin Isaac’s Mom: “My Intuition Is Telling Me My Son Is Still Alive”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It’s been more than a year since I first spoke to Tashana Thompson at her Carmihcael Road home.

At the time he had only been missing for a few days, now months later, that search continues.

Thompson has been living in uncertainty, waiting for the day her son, Devin Isaacs, walks back through the front door.

Devin was 16-years-old when he disappeared from his home in May of 2024.

Police issued a Marco’s alert days after his disappearance.

In July 2024, then Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander released cctv footage showing a car parked two houses away from Devin’s home shortly after midnight.

Since then, Thompson says she hasn’t heard anything.

“I don’t feel like the police is ever looking for him. And worse that 18, they just ain’t gonna go look for him. I haven’t heard from them since last year, September, I went there in the summer, would’ve been I think June or July just ago for an update.i sat out there for 45 minutes and nobody never came out to me.”

Devin would have celebrated his 18th birthday on July 2nd.

Instead, his mother says the day was filled with tears.

She believes her son didn’t just run away, her motherly intuition telling her different.

Since Devin’s disappearance, some have reported sightings of the tee but Thompson says she’s not buying it.

Despite the silence from police, she says her faith keeps her strong, praying that one day she’ll be reunited with her son.
