NASSAU, BAHAMAS – We’ve all heard about shark week in The Bahamas, but what about dive week? It’s making waves in the international dive community as Grand Bahama welcomes divers from all over for a second year in a row.

Here’s Kristina Dragovich.

The Ministry of Tourism in Grand Bahama wrapping up dive week, showcasing marine life and white sand beaches in paradise.

Bahamas Ministry of Tourism General Manager in Grand Bahama, Steven Johnson says while the turnout wasn’t what the ministry anticipated, the benefits are still rolling in.

Grand Bahama Dive Week ran from May 22-28, featuring underwater caves, wreck diving and even a few glimpses of sharks.

Johnson explains the opportunities are almost as vast as Grand Bahama’s underwater cave network.
