GRAND BAHAMA , BAHAMAS – Spring is officially here and temperatures are warming up just right, meaning that it’s the perfect time to visit your local plant nursery for your all of your indoor and outdoor needs.

In Tuesday night’s edition of the Grander View, Our News anchor Megan Shepherd, stopped by Divine Favor Nursery and Landscaping.

Nadia Meadows began her career at the nursery of a large department store some years ago.

However, when Hurricane Dorian wreaked its havoc and forced that business to temporarily close its doors.

She said she realized customers were left with a void that needed to be filled, and that’s when Divine Favor Nursery and Landscaping was birthed.

Meadows, spoke about her love for plants with a tangible sense of joy as something she loves sharing with her customers as she helps them choose the right plants- whether for the beautiful aesthetics they add to a space or for the many documented health benefits.

The nursery is just part of her dream at Divine Favor, as Meadows said persons began asking for seedlings for fresh vegetables and her advice on how to get a garden growing.

Now, Meadows has been in that bigger space since December 2025, which gave her an opportunity to finally start the farm she’s always envisioned.

She said she’s grateful to the Grand Bahama Port Authority as she’s now leasing over an acre of land and to her customers that have supported her over the past five years.
