AUSTRALIA – A trainee surgeon in Australia was released on bail Friday after being charged with secretly recording hundreds of medical colleagues in hospital restrooms.

Police say Ryan Cho faces nearly 500 charges relating to more than 4,500 videos allegedly filmed since 202.

The 28-year-old was ordered to live with his parents and post a 50 thousand dollar surety.

Police say at least 460 women were recorded, however there’s no allegation he shared the footage.

Cho was arrested in July after a phone was discovered recording in a mesh bag at a Melbourne hospital.

He has not entered pleas.
