NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On August 28th, 2024, Arthur Wilson was shot while standing outside a building on Young Street.

He says the shooting happened moments after he filed a complaint at the Criminal Investigations Department.

His mother, Pastor Alethia Ferguson, described it as a call no mother wanted to hear.

Months later, Arthur finally returned home after being hospitalized for months.

While his family is grateful he’s home and alive, Arthur has a long road ahead as he’s paralyzed on the left side. Doctors said that he may not walk again.

His family is seeking to raise thirty thousand dollars, believing he still has a chance.
