Zintworn Duncombe was shot multiple times last July while visiting a friend at John Road. As a consequence of the shooting, the 35-year-old’s eyesight was affected.

He was granted permission to travel to Cuba in August for medical treatment for one month.
Duncombe has now been given permission to go to Cuba for one week for follow up care.

Duncombe is on bail awaiting a second trial for the murders of immigration officer Shane Gardiner and his girlfriend Tishka Braynen I that took place in Fresh Creek, Andros in December 2013.
