NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It was another close game for VJ Edgecombe and the Philadelphia 76ers, but despite a career night distributing the basketball, the home team came up just short.

Edgecombe finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, and a career-high nine assists, but the Sixers saw their three-game winning streak end with a 125-124 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

After going scoreless in the first half, Edgecombe made his biggest impact late, drilling a clutch three-pointer to force overtime. He also added two steals and two blocks as his defensive presence stood out down the stretch.

Philadelphia returns to action Wednesday night against the Washington Wizards.


Ole Miss nearly pulled off a major upset against the second-ranked Texas Longhorns, while Fred King continues to dominate for Murray State.

Ole Miss erased a 19-point deficit and cut the lead to three, but Texas held on for a 67-64 win. The Rebels now face eighth-ranked Oklahoma in another SEC showdown.

Meanwhile, Fred King continued his strong season for Murray State, posting 11 points and eight rebounds in a win over Bradley. The Racers are now 13-3 overall and undefeated in Missouri Valley Conference play.


Lennox Lockhart is beginning 2026 on the international motorsports stage.

The young Bahamian will compete in his first international race of the season in Campillos, Malaga, Spain, on a championship-approved circuit.

Lockhart will race against elite competition and in front of FIA officials and Formula 1 development managers, as he continues to build his karting résumé toward a future in motorsports.
