NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After questions regarding his absence at COP27, Minister of Environment Vaughn Miller is speaking out about the reason he was noticeably absent.

This is the first time the minister has responded to questions about COP27.

He says prior engagements with other environmental conferences made the choice difficult, but he was quick to add the ministry wasn’t left unrepresented.

Miller says the impact of the United Nations Environment Program’s Ozone Secretariat is already being seen in The Bahamas.
