NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Exuma MP Chester Cooper conducting a post-flood assessment which revealed some roads are still flooded and some residents still stuck in their homes.

Days after hours of torrential rain caused severe flooding for Exuma residents some are still suffering from the flooding. Algamae Bodie is one of those residents.And she’s not the only one.

One resident says she was forced to leave her home for four days due to water coming into her home.

Deputy Prime Minister and Area Member of Parliament Chester Cooper provided residents with a care package.

He says the plan is to bring relief to the residents as quickly as possible.
