Family Island Airports To Be Redeveloped

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Deputy Director General in the Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, Kenneth Romer says on March 1st, an exciting, aggressive and comprehensive program was launched to jumpstart the redevelopment of some 14 Family Island airports.

His comments came as he was the featured speaker at Thursday’s press briefing at the Office of the Prime Minister.

Romer noting that this will be a multi-stage process that is expected to revolutionize aviation in the country.

He says there are several key objectives the ministry seeks to accomplish including building more sustainably and bring these airports up to international standards.
