The family of a young man gunned down in front of his home on Key West Street last night is demanding justice.

Family members say 29-year-old Dave Miller Jr. also known as Lil Dave was just released from The Bahamas Department of Corrections on Christmas Eve but three weeks later, his life was taken by gunshots.

The barrage of bullets hit the windshield of a car parked in the yard of his home. Bullet holes were also seen in the door of another vehicle and penetrated the wall of the home where his family lived.

Aunt, Rochelle Butler says although dave had his share of problems with the law, he was a sweet individual who would always assist his grandmother. Rochelle says her family want justice but are also calling for forgiveness of the perpetrators responsible for Dave’s death. She wishes no harm on the suspects.

Two other men were injured during the ordeal. They remain in hospital up to press time.
