NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A family overwhelmed with emotions as they spoke to reporters in front of the smoldering structure that once was their home on Friday morning.

Police believe they’re victims of an arson attack.

On Tuesday morning, video captured a man wearing a white shirt and dark pants lighting a car on fire that was parked in the driveway of their Coral Heights home.

Jannette Dorsett, the matriarch of the home says she was awoken that morning by a car alarm and saw the fire outside.

In a panic, she woke up her two daughters and husband.

Her husband Dwayne Dorsett says despite his efforts to extinguish the initial car blaze, the fire spread rapidly, leaving him helpless, forcing them out of their home to watch twenty-five years of memories go up in smoke.
