NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 37-year-old father has been jailed for five years for sexually abusing his three-year-old twin daughters.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 37-year-old father has been jailed for five years for sexually abusing his three-year-old twin daughters.
The man pleaded guilty to indecent assault in the middle of his trial before Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson.
His name has been withheld to protect the victims’ identities.
The twins slept in the same bed as their father in July 2024.
Their then 15-year-old sister, who slept in an adjacent bed in the same room woke up and saw her father touching the toddlers in a sexual way.
The judge ordered that the father receive a psychiatric evaluation and treatment. She also recommended that the children receive counselling.
