NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Christian Council President, Bishop Delton Fernander had a strong message for the crowds at Clifford Park during the Ecumenical Service of the Independence celebrations held there Sunday night.

Challenging leaders to “turn the tide” and bring the land back to its Christian foundation, Fernander urged for clarity on a vision that transcends party lines.

Fernander also taking a strong stance against international influence on the country, saying following God should come above whatever potential international repercussions may come from resisting influence.
